The liquid surface monitoring adopts a long-distance non-contact monitoring method, connecting the instrument to the lubricator, casing sleeve valve or the blowout preventer with the friendly ring air, using the nitrogen in the nitrogen cylinder as the power, and manually controlling the computer to send sonar pulse waves. The pulse wave passes through the ring air to the underground liquid surface. In the case of a drill pipe coupling or liquid surface, the computer receives the pulse wave returned from the drill pipe. Due to the change in amplitude of the pulse wave when it propagates on the drill rod joint and the liquid surface, various underground noise signals are filtered. Calculating the number of connectors or the time of Sonar propagation gives the depth of the liquid surface and records the depth change curve on the computer. The resulting data is online and real-time. In addition to the traditional use of drilling in the process of leakage, liquid surface monitoring as a guiding grouting basis, it can also be used to guide oil and gas well production operations. The liquid surface monitoring for production well can receive the change of liquid surface in the well in time and guide the next production operation. The test well can receive the change of the liquid surface in the well in time, which can be used as the basis for evaluating the gas lift effect and the next technological measure.
